Day 6 (2/11/10)

The team is starting to travel back to the Dominican so that they can fly home tomorrow. But before they go, Rob sent a few more pictures for us to see.

Aunt and Gristella are leaving for Les Caynes to live with a pastor and his family. They are both doing very well.



We're leaving Gonaive, heading to Port Au Prince.
Will reach Santo Domingo by late night, traveling all day.

We have crossed the border and now are traveling in 3 SUVs.

Day 5 (2/10)

The team has been busy this morning, there have been alot of children that have come in. 2 of them can be seen on the please pray posting, they are small babies that have critical conditions. Here is what else has been going on.


Pastor Donny from Miami meets the Army Captain Brunk, a contact we made when getting the NC team member airlifted out. This new relationship will benefit ministry trips for the future.


There have been lots of children that have come in this morning!


Praise the Lord!! Jessica Oliver just reported that God put an IV in a baby when she could not.

Day 4 (2/9/10) Update

Here is another update of what the team did yesterday.





Another beautiful day dawns in Gonaive


Some damage done on the second floor of this building from the quake.




A bulldozer comes and scrapes away debris, clearing the way for new construction.




The Caribbean Express, our ground transportation/earthquake simulator.A local woman laughs as members of the team chase other women and their donkeys for a photo op. Sorry for dark pic...this was a fleeting moment. We're heading for the hospital!

A premie baby who's mom died. Only 10 days old. Father is in the hospital. Very high risk...please be praying for this one.


Please pray for Barbara, she has been working in the ER with another surgical team. This is the scrub sink in ER prep that they are using.
